Native to Lake Tillery, Robbie Cohen grew up the youngest of five children, where he was practically raised in his father’s department store – centrally located in the heart of Norwood. His early customer-oriented experience equipped him perfectly for a position at Bill’s Marina, where he worked every summer for about ten years, heightening his love for the lake, as well as the lifestyle it inherently offers.

Amidst his third year at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he pursued a degree in business, his father unexpectedly fell victim to cancer – forcing him to return to Norwood and manage his father’s store and real estate. To his surprise, Robbie soon discovered his passion for property management and construction. Without wasting any time, he began improving his family’s rental properties and building his own in 1991. Since then, he has built many spec houses and custom homes – with lakefront property as his specialty. He does, however, have experience building many commercial properties, which he continues to manage.
